Mr Adnan, it seems like many companies are looking to Dubai and the UAE as a global commercial, education, innovation, and financial hub. Why?

“Dubai and the United Arab Emirates have always been a melting pot of countries, cultures, and attitudes. We are proud that our forefathers were able to transform a desert into one of the world’s most developed countries in just 50 years. Nowadays, Dubai has established itself as a global leader in a variety of fields, and we can claim that it is a modern hub for technology, innovations, healthcare, education, finance, and a variety of other activities”.

Which kind of business involves the Private Office of Sheik Saqer Bin Mohamed Al Qasimi’s of Sharjah that you manage?

“His Private Office is not limited to any specific areas. Our mission is to assist any company, project, or idea that can make the world a better, safer and brighter place for everyone. We help companies get licenses, interact with potential partners and consumers, conduct analytical research, and organize roadshows and other marketing activities in the UAE. Last October 2021, we held a successful governmental gathering called ‘The Future Innovation Summit’, in which about half of the participating start-ups secured funding from government bodies or private corporations. We did a second edition last May 11 and 12, and it was even better (‘Lets Build A Better Future Today!’). Not only, last week I represented The Private Office who gave the patronage of ‘Emerging Technologies Investment Forum’, hosted by Quantum Leap Strategy AG, at the WEF in Davos”.

How can The Private Office help business owners and investors wishing to set up their activities in the UAE and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)?

“The Private Office of Sheikh Saqer Bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, led by me as the Chairman, is integrating all efforts to create a better and brighter future for the people of the UAE and all the different communities and nationalities that come here. We feel that only by working together will we be able to ensure our legacy’s long-term viability. We understand how tough it may be to break into a new market. That is why, with 22 representative offices in various countries, we are here to assist any investor or business, not just on the GCC markets but also globally”.

What’s the strategy and impact of the investments with The Private Office?

“Since its inception, The Private Office, with me as Chairman, has been on the mission to foster long-term business. Only this type of company can have a significant impact on humanity’s future. Focusing on new ideas, we feel, is the key to any business’s success”.

What is your most recent schooling venture with Global Business Studies?

“The team of The Private Office was honored to be invited to the inauguration of the Global Business Studies (GBS) at Dubai Knowledge Park, together with Mr. Stanley Johnson (politician, father of the UK Prime Minister and special guest at the second edition of the Summit -see picture below, from right: mr. Stanley Johnson, Sheikh Saqer Bin Mohamed Al Qasimi of Sharjah, Adnan Al Noorani, Ed.), and to welcome a vibrant and well-equipped campus from GBS, which started in the United Kingdom. A second stage will be to open a campus in Sharjah in 2022 with the help of the Private Office and Sheikh Saqer Bin Mohamed Al Qasimi personally, because we feel passionately in the value of education for future generations”.

UAE market is challenging and competitive. How The Private Office evaluate innovative industries and unicorns?

“The Private Office is always on the lookout for new opportunities. Our team of experts is trying not only to keep an eye on trending business industries, but also to forecast what categories will be in demand and flourishing in the near future, in order to provide the finest options for investors and business owners. The UAE is booming, real estate values are growing rapidly, and precious metals and gemstones are in high demand, as are technologies relating to agriculture, health care, water and food security”.
